On a 3-2 vote Feb. 17, the McLeod County Board of Commissioners agreed to have Mid-Minnesota Development Commission help it develop a countywide trail plan.
The proposal was made by Al Koglin, parks superintendent, who said that a comprehensive trail plan will help coordinate efforts in the county.
“Everyone is kind of going off on their own tangent with trails and walking paths,” Koglin said of plans in different communities throughout the county. “We’d like to look at all these ideas and have a county plan.”
