If you were outside at all on Monday, May 18, you experience the unseasonably cold, mid-40 temperatures and strong winds that made being outside almost unbearable.
Hanna Elshoff, 72, experienced these elements like no one else as she traveled through the area on her solar-powered tricycle.
She left Cologne Monday morning to travel to Silver Lake to speak at the Lions Club meeting. The overcast day proved difficult and she ran out of power near Lester Prairie.
Silver Lake Lions Club member Duane Yurek hooked up his trailer and picked her up.
