The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is planning a new safety study of the Highway 212 corridor through Glencoe, the McLeod County Board of Commissioners heard at its Nov. 21 meeting.
Lindsey Bruer of MnDOT was at the meeting to review MnDOT’s District 8 10-year capital highway investment plan.
County Commissioner Doug Krueger, who represents Glencoe, asked about the Highway 212-Chandler Avenue intersection at the southwest edge of the city.
“Is Chandler on the radar?” asked Krueger. “There have been a few things done, but there continue to be accidents there.”
