McLeod County has received a matching grant of $52,024.40 to purchase new voting equipment, the County Board heard at its Tuesday, Feb. 6, meeting. The county will need to match the grant with a minimum of $36,483.85.
County Auditor-Treasurer Cindy Schultz said she hopes to have the equipment in place for use at the Aug. 14 primary election.
