Glencoe City Council unanimously approved a personnel policy change that will ban employees from using any tobacco products on city property, including in city vehicles and buildings.
Meeting in a rare Tuesday session due to the Presidents Day holiday, City Council also may include the new electronic cigarettes and e-cigars in its current smoke-free ordinance as well.
But that will depend on what the state Legislature does this session concerning e-cigarettes and how the Minnesota Clean Air Act applies.
