Evan Breder and partner Shane King presented a lyceum in the First Lutheran School gymnasium Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 19, called “Skateboard Science.” It was a mix of skateboarding skills with the science behind them. While Breder skateboarded, King provided the scientific explanations. Breder demonstrated the distribution of weight by lying on a bed of nails, as opposed to stepping on one nail. King and Breder travel the country putting on their skateboarding demonstrations mixed with science lessons.
