A proposed April 8 workshop regarding a potential adoption of a uniform building code sparked controversy among County Board Commissioners Tuesday morning.
Board Chair Paul Wright set the stage for the discussion when he reported on township annual meetings he had attended the previous week.
Wright said he was disappointed that several townships passed resolutions protesting the adoption of a building code by the County Board.
Wright contended that those resolutions were based on “absolutely inaccurate information.”
