Fourth-grade students at Glencoe-Silver Lake’s Lakeside Elementary were presented a program on energy sources last Wednesday afternoon. Above, Laysha Hernandez pedaled a bicycle in order to keep on the lights on the board to her left. It was one source of energy. Other sources included solar, nuclear, fossil fuel and wind. Lukas Johnson of the Minnesota Science Museum led the lyceum. The energy education program was sponsored by the Minnesota Municipal Power Agency.
