It’s National Library Week, which seems like a good time to introduce the new librarian at the Brownton Public Library, and some of the activities that are going on, both this week and throughout the year.
Sylvia Muecke is the new librarian. The North Dakota native has lived in Brownton for 12 years with her husband, Bruce. The couple has two sons.
Muecke said she pursued a degree in secondary art education at Dickinson State University in North Dakota. She moved to Minnesota in pursuit of a job.
