McLeod County’s Health and Human Services building on Ford Avenue in Glencoe is structurally sound, but needs significant work to address heat loss and energy efficiency issues.
Pam Jergenson of Inspec presented the County Board with a study of the building’s needs at a June 3 workshop.
Jergenson noted that Inspec is not a structural engineering service, but preliminary inspection shows that the building, built in the 1930s as a nursing home, is still structurally sound.
