Last Friday, June 13, the Bruce Maresh Aquatic Center in Silver Lake was swimming with kids and parents as they enjoyed a day in the sun at the pool. The pool opened Sunday, June 8, but rainy weather has kept many from enjoying it. Above is Madison Watts preparing for a dunk as she vaulted out from the water slide. The pool is open Mondays through Thursdays, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Fridays through Sundays, noon to 8 p.m. For more information, contact the city of Silver Lake at 320-327-2412.
