The Glencoe-Silver Lake School Board on Monday approved a request to hire four additional paraprofessionals to work in the special education program at Lakeside, and Superintendent Chris Sonju explained the detailed thought process and need in hiring the additional employees.
He referred to an editorial written by Editor Rich Glennie published in the McLeod County Chronicle last Wednesday about the district’s deficit-spending budget and the continuing staff changes at GSL, particularly numerous additions of paraprofessionals.
