The McLeod County Board of Commissioners committed itself Tuesday to spending up to $300,000 to replace the floor in the commercial building at the McLeod County Fairgrounds.
Board Chair Paul Wright brought up the issue, saying it has been a back-burner issue for the fairgrounds commission for the past few years.
Wright said there is an estimated cost of $30,000 to fix the cracks in the floor and repaint; a new, multi-purpose floor would cost about $300,000.
